Persona 3 Reload Hayase Social Link Answers And Unlock Requirements
In Persona 3 Reload, forming bonds with various characters helps players strengthen their Personas and unlock unique ultimate fusions. One of the most notable late-game bonds is the Star Social Link, represented by rival athlete Mamoru Hayase. Understanding how to meet his prerequisites and select the best dialogue choices ensures you max out this relationship efficiently.
How to Unlock the Star Social Link
Unlocking Mamoru Hayase requires meeting specific conditions during your playthrough. You must first join the Track Team by starting the Chariot Social Link with Kazushi Miyamoto earlier in the year. After participating in the track competition in early August, Mamoru will acknowledge your performance and invite you to hang out.
To actually initiate the Star bond, you need to reach Rank 4 Courage, described as Tough. Once you meet this stat requirement, travel to the Iwatodai Strip Mall during daytime after school to speak with Mamoru. Engaging in conversation with him at this location officially establishes Rank 1 of the Star Arcana.
Best Dialogue Answers for Mamoru Hayase
Advancing through Mamoru's Social Link involves supporting him as he deals with personal and athletic challenges. Selecting encouraging responses rewards you with extra Social Link points, speeding up your progress toward Rank 10. Bringing a Persona of the Star Arcana during hangouts will also grant a multiplier to all points earned.
During dialogue choices, focus on being supportive of his competitive drive and family responsibilities. Choosing options that demonstrate dedication and empathy will consistently yield the highest affinity bonuses. If you happen to lag behind in points, spending time with him on non-rank events or using shrine fortunes can help bridge the gap.
Rewards for Maxing the Star Arcana
Reaching Rank 10 with Mamoru Hayase completes his story arc and solidifies a lifelong friendship. As a farewell gift, Mamoru gives you his father's car key, a unique item required for high-level fusions. This key unlocks the ability to fuse Helel, the ultimate Persona of the Star Arcana.
Helel possesses powerful light and almighty skills that serve as vital assets in late-game boss battles. Completing this Social Link not only enriches the narrative experience but also grants players one of the most formidable Personas available in Persona 3 Reload.
