The Infamous difficulty setting offers a relentless experience designed to push even veteran players to their absolute limits. Completing this intense challenge rewards players with exclusive cosmetic bragging rights that showcase their mastery over the cult's forces.

What Is the Far Cry 5 Infamous Reward

The primary reward for finishing the campaign on Infamous difficulty is the exclusive Rook outfit. This cosmetic set allows your custom character to don the iconic police officer uniform featured during the dramatic opening sequence of the game. Additionally, players receive a unique badge of honor within the game's community, cementing their accomplishment of surviving Hope County at its most lethal setting.

How to Unlock Infamous Difficulty

Before you can attempt Infamous mode, you must first complete the main campaign of Far Cry 5 on any difficulty level. Finishing the story with the Resist ending unlocks the New Game Plus option from the main menu. Selecting New Game Plus grants access to the Infamous difficulty setting, allowing you to restart the campaign while retaining your earned perks, weapons, and gear.

Key Challenges on Infamous Difficulty

Infamous difficulty significantly increases enemy aggression, accuracy, and overall health pools. Enemies react much faster during stealth encounters and land deadly shots with high precision. Resource management and strategic stealth play become essential, as head-on firefights can quickly end in failure.

Strategies for Surviving the Run

To overcome this punishing difficulty, rely heavily on stealth weapons and silenced sniper rifles to eliminate threats from a safe distance. Utilizing specialized companions and maxing out vital perks in New Game Plus provides a crucial tactical edge. Patience and thorough planning before entering any outpost or mission area are key to claiming your reward.
